OPEN RELATIONSHIPS
I have learned that many of us do not know what an open relationship is. Many people mistake this phrase to mean open as in "open and honest" relationship.
An ''Open relationship'' refers to a relationship where both parties have the right or permission to sleep with other people outside of the relationship.
My question is why be in a relationship at all? Having said that everybody has their lifestyle-choices and they will do what blows their hair back.
However, I am downcasted by the fact there are so many people out there who are in open relationships when they are not entirely jubilant. Their partners enjoy the " alternative lifestyle''and they don't. but they do it just to keep the peace. Agree to something like that only if you are entirely and fully into it as well. Otherwise you really are hurting yourself and your relationship in the process.

ReplyDeleteAn open relationship is no less than a loo., it's unhealthy! Yeah,there are rules and the parties involved are known by both partners but well these doesn't make it look less toxic! I mean why can't you love yourself enough for just one partner? How confident are you that your partner won't fall and elope with the other party? Not to mention jealousy and comparisons that might just rip it all off. Why being in a relationship at all when you know you can choose your lifestyle... No string attached, No intimacy, maybe just you and your way of living #player, prostitute#🤷 so to say but remember life humbles people!

To me an open relationship is a sign of unsatisfactory and disrespect,if you chose me then it's me,not any other person,that's why you should choose wisely so that you dont go look for something elsewhere...we live in a cruel world with so many diseases and this is just another way of spreading them.. this was just my opinion,but everyone is free to do as they see fit

Well, to me, open relationship is something that needs more attention before both parties take it or live it.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like it's for people who have no relevant reasons to date. It's for people who enjoy sex and all the time they see a beautiful girl or cute guy coming close they intend to seduce. It's high time we ask our partners if they have some good plans for us, and someone having good plans can not go for open relationship. The way we are seeing people being exposed, that eveil things may become more and more and imagine how it may happen to you as a lady or a guy one day, how will you rate open relationship?

ReplyDeletePeople have got different takes on everything around us, but I don't think there is a problem with an open relationship as long you and your partner knows what you're doing and why you have to do it then I don't think there will be problems.
ReplyDeleteAnother appealing characteristic of this kind of relationship is that it grants you and your partner the freedom to pursue other people in a way that's based on mutual respect, open communication, and total honesty.

From my own point of view. Open relationship develops a great trust and for real relationships there's nothing to hide if you true to your partner and really want to build up👌
